He will be showing our stylists the ins and outs of his techniques he has acquired over his years of hair styling and multiple different hair shows all over the world!

Going through different steps of the hair cutting process from wet to dry. This is not a class to miss!

We are so excited to have our very own Leslie teach a men’s cutting class!

She will be taking our stylists through the whole appointment process, from what to look and hear for during the consultation to all the detail work.

This class will focus on how to start with clipper work and finishing with scissor over comb.

Enjoy an intimate 6 hour workshop where Erik will demo all of his color techniques to achieve his signature California blonde. He’s picked up many tricks throughout his career, and spares no details in his classes. He also offers so much knowledge when it comes to building the ideal clientele, branding to stand out from the rest, photography, and most important mindset behind the chair. Erik is founder of AGENCE Salons @agence_salon located in Los Angeles.

Learn how to create luxuriously lived in color using the glowlights technique with Mane Cultures educator Samantha Sellars! @forloveandhair

In this course you will learn to achieve a high end, low-maintenance color with the time saving technique: GLOWLIGHTS. This technique uses a halo placement focusing on adding brightness around the face. Both head and face mapping are used to adapt the placement to each guest and allow for a perfect lived in result. 

This class is perfect for  stylist who are looking to create that live-in look while keeping the color high-end and luxurious.

We are so excited to have our very own Jennifer host a haircut class again! Jennifer is a master at her craft and has plenty of knowledge to share.  This will be a hands-on class where Jennifer will offer guidance and advice, so please plan accordingly to bring a model. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Abdon makes his Salon True teaching debut with this haircutting class! Open to everyone, highly recommended for assistants looking to improve their haircutting technique. Anyone who attends needs to bring a mannequin.

Andreia Flores our very own Oribe Ambassador will be hosting a SPECIAL EVENT STYLING class for our stylists. This class content will include foundation skills for condensing hair weight, creating big hair, and pulling hair up as well as the right products to use! This is a hands-on class, so a model or a doll head is necessary for participation. Anyone is welcome to come!

Ever Flores will be leading a 2-3 hour Schwarzkopf color class. This is a great session for new stylists who are not familiar with the Schwarzkopf color line, as well as all assistants. He will be showing techniques like shadow roots, root melts & all there is to know about root color using Schwarzkopf!

Monday – July 26, 2021 – Curl Manifesto Launch Event

We are honored to have been selected to host the county-wide launch of Kerastase’s newest line: Curl Manifesto! Kerastase will hold this educational

event where Kerastase stylists come in and show stylist all over the city about the new Curl Manifesto line. Stylists will be taught how to use the products

to ensure that their clients get the BEST results and ensure their clients will fall in love with the product.

Andreia Flores will be leading a haircut/blowout class at our Sherman Oaks location. New commission stylists and assistants will learn the techniques that produce Salon True quality services.

Formally trained at the Tony&Guy Hairdressing Academy in Santa Monica, Jennifer “JD” Audeon has tackled a generation of young starlets with her talent.  Jennifer has spent years cultivating her craft, and the Los Angeles beauty scene has taken notice.  She has worked with several known celebrities and musicians and is very active in the editorial world.

We will be diving into new color correction techniques with our favorite color brand! Learning from celebrated educator Joey Rush, she will be showing us innovative ways to use Schwarzkopf to achieve the perfect look for any client.

This cutting technique is excellent for creating versatility and accentuating natural texture and wave. Summer Verrett’s relentless approach to working hard and studying has allowed her to merge industry knowledge with experience for a unique approach to hair. She prides herself on her ability to customize cutting and coloring techniques. Summer has always sought to further her education, training abroad in London with Vidal Sassoon.
Always seeking to raise the bar in the industry, Summer’s role as an educator with Kérastase allows her to share techniques while working with stylists one-on-one.
