GUIDELINES FOR RETURN

As we prepare to reopen our doors, we want to assure you that the health and wellbeing of our staff and clients is our number one priority. As such, we want to make sure you are aware that we have implemented the following measures to ensure the safest and cleanest environment for your safety:

Please note that our staff is adhering to all of these protocols in addition to mandatory testing prior to being admitted back to work.
Social Distancing:

  • By alternating schedules and assigned shifts, Salon True staff will be able to maintain social distance between stylist stations, ensuring clients are distant from each other and from other stylists.
  • At the front desk, you will notice that the floor is now marked to display what is 6ft distance from each client when checking out.
  • It make be required to process color outside of the salon. Available chairs will be in the rear lot. 
Use of Personal Protective Equipment Required:

  • All Salon True staff members and guests will be required to pass an on site touchless temperature screening upon entering the salon.
  • All Salon True staff and guests will be required to wear masks and sanitize hands upon entering the salon. Guests are required to arrive with a mask.
  • All Salon True staff will be required to wear gloves, except when performing a haircut. 
  • Each guest’s gown and cutting cape will continue to be laundered in the warmest appropriate setting during the wash cycle before being used again, as is already protocol. 
Disinfection:

  • Salon True will continue to maintain our high standards of cleaning all surfaces and disinfects including tools and linens.
  • Salon True housekeeping staff will continue monitoring cleanliness and disinfecting the guest restroom every 15 to 30 minutes, as well other areas of the salon.
  • Salon True is committed to only use disinfectants that are EPA-registered and labeled as bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal to be effective.
  • Salon True will be unable to provide amenities such as; magazines, snacks, fruits, coffee, tea and water. You may bring your own.
  • 15 minute time blocks are scheduled between appointments in order to clean and sanitize stylist stations, chairs, color trays, and tools as required by California State Board.
  • Stylists will wash and/or sanitize hands after removing gloves.
  • Disinfectants used for immersion(tools) will be change daily or sooner if it becomes contaminated (ex:hair/debris floating in solution)
  • Salon True stylists are BARBICIDE® COVID-19 certified.
  • We will not be accepting cash as a form of payment.
Guest arrival/ Check out Protocol

  • Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment time and wait in your vehicle. From there call the salon with your name and stylist name. We will respond when we are ready for your entry.
  • Waiting area capacity at this time is only 2 guests. Additional chairs will be available outside in the salon's parking lot in the rear of the building. 
  • Understand that your appointment is scheduled for you only. At this time, we are unable to welcome any additional guests or accompaniment.
  • Once you have entered the premises, your temperature will be taken and a COVID-19 consent form must be signed by you.
  • If you need to use the restroom or would like to step outside while your color is processing, please let your stylist know so that she/he may help you navigate through the salon and ensure safe distancing.
  • To limit person-to-person interaction; when you are ready to check out, you will be asked to remit payment by credit card only.
  • If you would like to purchase retail products: ask for assistance from your stylists or front desk. Retail purchases may be made in advance by emailing your order to studiocitytrue@gmail.com Pick up will be available the day of your appointment.

We are all officially headed into the long-awaited "new normal". We ask that you be patient and courteous with our staff and one another as we all learn new strategies to operate as a community post-lockdown. Please know and understand that we are doing everything in our power to best accommodate each individual while keeping health and safety at the forefront. It will take time, and we appreciate your tolerance of that fact.
